Shocking Comeback: TV Star Stuns Fans with Dramatic Return After Rumors of Being ‘Ruthlessly Fired’!
Hollyoaks star Chelsee Healey will return to the Channel 4 soap following her maternity leave, despite previously fuelling rumours that she had been axed.
At 36, the talented actress, who first rose to fame for her role in the BBC drama Waterloo Road, has been captivating audiences as Goldie McQueen on Hollyoaks since 2016. Goldie’s vibrant personality and daring storylines have made her a fan favorite, and her recent storyline has only added to the drama. In January, Goldie left the iconic village, embarking on a world cruise with her mother Myra (played by Nicole Barber-Lane). Fans were left wondering if that was the last they would see of her. However, to everyone’s surprise, she made a brief yet emotional return in May, leaving viewers eager for more.
Goldie’s next appearance was far from ordinary. She returned, sun-kissed and visibly changed, to attend the heart-wrenching wake of her son Hunter (Theo Graham). His tragic death shook the village, especially after the harrowing events leading up to it. Just hours earlier, Lizzie Chen-Williams (played by Lily Best) had collapsed and died on the dance floor during her father’s wedding, after taking dangerous drugs. As the rest of the young crowd, who had also taken the same toxic pills, were gripped by terror, the stakes in Hollyoaks had never been higher. Goldie’s fleeting return brought even more emotion to an already dramatic moment, and left viewers on the edge of their seats, wondering what’s next for the beloved character.
